#STAYHOME & #STAYSAFE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN DUBAI & UAE – Ladies who online

How are you doing? I hope that if you’re reading this, you’re staying home and staying safe. I guess by now, everyone already understands how our situation works. The pandemic that we’re facing right now has been testing us to the core. But the good in this whole thing is that we finally get to spend more quality time with our loved ones. We now have the time to do that one hobby or business we’ve been itching to start. As for me, I was finally able to organize that non-profit community that my friend and I have been discussing to build for so long.

This pandemic has been an unfortunate event for a lot of families, especially those who are struggling to keep their jobs. But I hope that you will continue to stay strong. Try to stay positive and have faith because you and I will survive this.

Now, this article is about an online event that happened a few weeks ago. This was a very significant gathering for me as 58 ladies from our online community, those from all over the UAE, participated in this social experience in the comfort of their homes. Everyone came together by sending their video messages saying the words #stayhome and #staysafe as a means to help overcome the global crisis. Our situation hasn’t changed yet, but our community will continue to support one another, always ready to lend a listening ear and a helping hand.

 So on behalf of the Ladies Who Online Community, we extend our gratitude to all the ladies who sent their videos and joined our campaign to spread awareness. We couldn’t have done it without your support, so thank you!

 The lockdown in Dubai and UAE has been extended. And it might take a while before it is lifted. But I think it’s a good move from the government because it’s helping flatten the curve. Therefore let’s continue to help make the number of cases go down by doing our part. So please #stayhome and #staysafe.
