Eat Pizza, South Korea’s Largest Single-Serving Pizza Chain, Receives JAKIM Halal Certification at Pavilion Bukit Jalil === Celebrating with an all-new “Annyeong Halal – Seyo!” limited-time menu, featuring the Daging Rendang Kaw-Kaw Pizza and Satay Smokey Pizza

Eat Pizza, South Korea’s largest single-serving pizza chain with over 130 outlets across Southeast Asia, has received official Halal certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) at its Pavilion Bukit Jalil outlet, opening up its full menu to Muslim diners at the outlet for the first time. The certification was awarded in May 2026, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s growth in the local market.

Eat Pizza’s other two Malaysia outlets, AEON Tebrau City in Johor Bahru and Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya, are progressively working towards obtaining their own Halal certification in the months ahead.

Commonly known as 피자먹다 (“pija meokda”) in Korea, which translates to “eat pizza”, the brand marks this milestone less than two years after its Malaysia debut in Johor Bahru in November 2024, and just over a year after the opening of its Klang Valley flagship at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in January 2025. This reflects Eat Pizza’s continued commitment to serving a wider community of diners in Malaysia, while staying true to its Korean roots and quick-service concept.

Best known for its signature 25cm rectangular, one-handed pizzas, each pizza is freshly made upon ordering and ready in as fast as 5 minutes. Now Halal-certified by JAKIM at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Muslim diners can finally enjoy the full menu with confidence. Crafted with high-protein dough, extra virgin olive oil and 100% natural cheese, every pizza is more filling than it looks. One pizza is a proper, satisfying meal on its own, whether it’s a quick lunch, an afternoon craving, or a grab-and-go dinner.

Annyeong Halal – Seyo! A New Chapter Worth Celebrating

To mark this milestone, Eat Pizza is introducing an all-new limited-time “Annyeong Halal – Seyo!” menu, available at all three Eat Pizza outlets from 20 July to 31 August 2026:

The Daging Rendang Kaw-Kaw Pizza (RM15.80) brings together fragrant, slow-cooked rendang beef atop Eat Pizza’s signature crust for a rich and spicy local favourite, while the Satay Smokey Pizza (RM15.80) pairs smoky satay chicken with a nutty peanut sauce. For something lighter, the Curry Puff (RM6.80) offers a crispy golden puff filled with flavourful curry goodness, best enjoyed alongside the D’Bandung (RM4.80), a sweet and creamy rose syrup drink.
