A PRAYER FOR OUR FRONT LINERS

A PRAYER FOR OUR FRONT LINERS – Ladies who online

Hello, ladies!

Ramadan Kareem to our Muslim sisters and brothers! Greetings to everyone who is celebrating Ramadan this year.

Despite the ease of restrictions, we hope everyone is still staying home and practicing social distancing. Let’s continue to be positive and to have faith that we will win this fight. Have faith that we’ll slowly but surely bounce back to how it was – a time when we can all finally go out, enjoy our surroundings, and hug our friends and loved ones.

We can all probably agree that April flew by so fast. It’s been another month of staying home and attending to both work duties and familial responsibilities. Our new normal can be quite overwhelming, but we still hope that you’re getting by, and making the most out of your time with loved ones, as not everyone can enjoy the same luxuries. If we can ask our community, may we all take a moment by sending a prayer of hope, guidance, and protection for all of our front liners?

Let’s pray for…

…the doctors, nurses, medical technicians, and pharmacists who continue to show up to work so they can continue to care and provide for the sick.
…the sanitation workers who continue to sterilize hospitals, roads, and establishments so that we can continue to traverse everyday life with ease.
…the police who continue to monitor our streets so that everyone is protected and accounted for.
…the grocery store employees who continue to stock their markets with necessities so that we don’t go hungry.
…the employees (e.g., airport, construction, telecommunications, water, electricity, public transport) who can’t work from home but continue to show up to the office so that vital sectors continue to run.
…the delivery drivers who pick up essentials so that you don’t have to leave your home.

Thank you to everyone who’s been helping flatten the curve. We can fight through this. We’re all in this together!

Love and light,
Mai
