November is a busy month for everyone in Dubai. There are so many activities and celebrations happening too, like the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which runs until November 30th. 

Our November meetup also happened on the same weekend as the Diwali festival, which is the Festival of Lights for our dear Indian friends. While no other members came to our small gathering, the meetup had to go on, even with just me and my friend @_wheretofindme there. We couldn’t waste time and memories when it comes to discovering new places to try.

We booked a terrace seat at Argentina Grill but ended up sitting inside as it was a lot cooler (ideal for us who planned on drinking alcoholic drinks). We availed of the 50% off happy hour offer of Argentina Grill The Pointe. We ordered just enough for the two of us. Well, everything we availed of that night would have been more expensive if not for the half-price offer.

We ordered the Argentina Grande Platter, Steak Picanha with mashed potatoes, and one Shiraz bottle for sharing. Honestly, the Grande Platter was more than enough for both of us. Although, it wouldn’t hurt to try one of their steaks as well, given that Argentina serves quality meat and steaks on their menu. Here is a shout-out to Sheena, our Filipina waitress, who was very nice to us. 

The whole place was clean and lovely. The view of Atlantis The Palm was also just as captivating. 

Now, a word of advice: do not forget to book your table in time for the sunset (just before 7 PM), as the largest fountain in the world is at The Pointe The Palm, just right in front of Argentina Grill. The fountain show starts at 7 PM and plays different songs and lights every 30 minutes. If you have time, do watch it. Get to enjoy the experience while relishing your juicy steak and good wine.

It wasn’t quite the meetup we hoped for, but our time at Argentina Grill was still one to remember. If you are a member of our ladies’ community, please do not hesitate to join us in the future! We have meetups once a month, and a lot more is happening soon, as the weather in Dubai is getting better now that winter is coming. The cold months are upon us, which means more time to go out and enjoy the sun, while, of course, social distancing and wearing facemasks.
