GOLDEN MILK RECIPE – Ladies who online
Golden milk, also known as Haldi Doodh or Turmeric milk, is an Indian drink that I remember from my childhood. My mother used to make it when staving off a sore throat, cold, and cough.
This bright, yellow beverage is traditionally made by warming up cow’s milk with turmeric and other spices such as cinnamon, pepper, and ginger. It is also laced with clarified butter.
I did not use dairy in this recipe in an attempt to make it less inflammatory.
INGREDIENTS:
200 ml of Almond milk
1/2 tsp turmeric powder or 2 cm of root
1 pinch ginger powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1 pinch black pepper
1 tbsp raw honey
1 tsp virgin coconut oil
METHOD:
Mix the first 5 ingredients and then heat in a pan for 2 to 3 minutes. Afterward, bring this to a boil. Then take it off the heat and add honey and coconut oil.
This milk helps with digestion and is a liver and blood detoxifier. It reduces arthritis pain, boosts and maintains good immunity, helps treat autoimmune diseases, and is an anti-cancer solution. It also relieves the common cough and cold through its antibacterial and antiviral properties, helps clear up the skin, and improves reproductive health in women.
You can also substitute milk for water and omit the honey. You can drink this every morning as a detoxifying elixir.
